Great turn out at the JDRF ONE Walk event. So many walkers and sponsors coming together to support and raise funds for research to find cure for Type 1 Diabetes. 

2018 TCOYD ONE Retreat in San Diego was super fun! We met so many Type 1 warriors. We were deeply touched by the group's enthusiasm for learning - to better manage their Type 1 diabetes. This weekend retreat is a great opportunity to meet other people who share the same challenges and learn the latest treatments and technology available. Traveling with diabetes is always one of their top list of challenges and we hope we were able to answer questions and help out. See you at TCOYD ONE 2019!

Learned so much at the ADA. This year was exciting and all about technology with the approval of Dexcom G6, Tandem Basal IQ, Omnipod DASH system, Medtronics 670G system for children 7-13, their Guardian Connect Sugar IQ, and the implantable CGM Eversense by Sensionics. All I can say is that I am lucky to be practicing and treating diabetes in this day and age. We have a lot more medication options and tools! Now, if we could just fix insurance coverage and reimbursements, it would be a perfect world!
